Boa Vista is a spectacular island with some of the best beaches in Cape Verde. The new international airport on Boa Vista has really put the island on the map.

A new all-inclusive tourist resort opened on Boa Vista recently near Praia de Salines.  Club hotel Riu Karamboa boasts of 750 rooms and has transformed the level of tourism to the island.

To date, property development on Boa Vista has mainly focused around the capital Sal Rei.  Cabral Beach has experienced substantial development all the way down to the Marine Club. Estoril Beach has also seen a great deal of property development as it is a wonderful spot for bathers and for water sports.

Some property development has also occurred near the international airport on Praia da Chave.  This beach needs to be seen to be believed.

In the early days there was very little housing stock on Boa Vista.  Now, there is a real variety of propositions from small residential developments to the larger resort style constructions. There are many completed developments on Boa Vista, so there is now an active resale market for property as well.
