   Boa Vista  Overview 

There is still plenty of land available on Boa Vista island Cape Verde.  It represents a great investment in this climate as prices are now much more realistic.

Land development on Boa Vista has focused in and around Sal Rei which is the capital.  The areas of Cabral Beach and Estoril beach have seen most of the attention but there is also development on Praia da Chave. 

Boa Vista is the most eastern of all the Cape Verde islands, lying some 445km from the west coast of Africa. It was discovered in 1480, and was named St Cristovao (Saint Christopher), then later Boa Vista (literally Good/Nice View).

It is one of the most sparsely populated of all the inhabited islands in Cape Verde. Boa Vista is a place of peace and tranquility where people lead a simple life away from the pressures of the modern world.

The new international airport on Boa Vista is open and receiving flights from Europe .  Boa Vista is now beginning to move forward significantly.  There is much more land development planned in and around Sal Rei and near the new international airport.

Boa Vista has recently opened a new tourist resort close to the airport. There is now a sense that the island is moving forward at a steady pace.
